ALBÉRIC AURTENÈCHE
Ayant grandi à Montréal, Albéric Aurtenèche est né à Paris où il a également étudié les arts visuels classiques et les nouveaux médias. La double nationalité lui donne une identité à la fois riche et… indéfinie. Ses courts métrages ont été vus dans de nombreux festivals à travers le monde. Sa collaboration de longue date à un groupe de recherche en cinéma interactif lui donne une connaissance approfondie des nouveaux modes de relation aux images. Notons que son travail est marqué par une très grande exigence esthétique, son souci principal étant de créer de véritables expériences visuelles, élégantes et touchantes.
Albéric Aurtenèche was born in France, grew up in Montreal and returned to Paris where he graduated from visual arts and new medias. This dual citizenship provides him with a rich cultural background and a “citizen of the world” life approach. His short films are seen in numerous film festivals around the world. He continuously perfects his knowledge of the visual arts through a long lasting collaboration with an interactive film research group. His work shows a mastered sense of esthetics, the aim being to create powerful, stylish and meaningful cinematic experiences.
